Mucciacciaro Completes Successful Test with Hillenburg at Rockingham Speedway's Half Mile
While the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers and teams were at Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) over the weekend for the All-Star event, Joey Mucciacciaro was a few hours East at Rockingham Speedway (NC), testing an ARCA Racing Series car with Andy Hillenburg on the half-mile oval. Mucciacciaro had a successful test with Hillenburg, who also runs the Fast Track Driving School. Stay tuned for announcements later this summer on Mucciacciaro's move up through the ranks of racing.
Impressive Third-Place Finish in NEMA Lite at the 'Bowl
On Saturday, May 12th, Joey Mucciacciaro raced in the NEMA Lite feature at the Waterford Speedbowl (CT). The young racer impressed the fans in attendance by racing strong during the feature, almost pulling off the win after starting from 10th, eventually crossing the finish line in the third position.
